By far this is the best Cobia season I have been through. Granted I have been able to fish more days for Cobia, but the bite has been terrific. On the Charter with the Shakespeare folks we boated a 54 pound er, most trips we have caught more than one nice size fish along with some small ones to tag and release. Whole Squid has been a good bait as well as catching some live Greenies where we are fishing. Today's trip was a season maker with us landing a 68 pound giant. You can cut Rib eye steaks out of the fillets. Best thing, still more fishing days ahead. 26 Cobia for the year and counting.
