Still windy but not as cold

Fished two days this past week dealing with the high winds the first day and part of the second trip. The Redfish are still chewing even in the wind. Both days I did Gulp baits vs. cut Mullet fish off contest. We did the Rabbit hunting technique on the high tide since with the wind the water was murky and sight fishing was out of the question. We moved the boat around the marsh with the trolling motor until we spotted the grass shake like Rabbits running through briars then cut the motor put out the Cajun anchor and placed standard slip float rigs baited with either cut Mullet or a Gulp swimming minnow on the hook all around the boat anywhere we could spot a hole in the grass big enough to get our bait to fall near the bottom. Would you believe under a dead floating cork the Gulp baits won the contest 6 to 4? From now on this time of year I am not going to worry about having fresh mullet to use in the marsh if I cannot use artificial effectively!
